Mr. Purvis constructs the blades for both his fixed blades and folding knives from mosaic Damascus, ATS-34, and Damasteel, and uses mammoth ivory, elephant ivory, mother of pearl, stag, and stabilized hardwoods in his handles. Folding knives use titanium liner locks for durability and beauty, and most folding knives are filewored along the spines.
